About Us
Today, Vimoter stands among Europe's leading suppliers of braking systems, with a significant global presence.
Our extensive experience, combined with rigorous quality standards and a drive for innovation, allows us to offer clients a comprehensive service, from the initial design phase through to after-sales support. Furthermore, we consider the size of our team a distinct advantage, enabling us to manage both small and large orders with flexibility.
Since 2024, we've been operating from a larger, more modern facility... we look forward to welcoming you at Via Nazario Sauro, 15 in Paderno Dugnano!
Vimoter SpA is part of the Malbro Group, led by the Malgrati brothers. It serves as the core of the braking systems division, which includes two other smaller production facilities: O.M.P. Srl (in Trigolo, Cremona province) and Madal Srl, also located at Via Nazario Sauro, 15 in Paderno, at walking distance from Vimoter.
1978
Founded in Cinisello Balsamo (Milan) as a spin-off of the larger MBM of Bresso, Vimoter establishes itself as a force in the field of industrial vehicle braking systems, specializing in the design, production and distribution of premium braking components.
1997
Vimoter signs a strategic agreement with Brembo, acquiring the industrial brake caliper production branch, including machinery, designs, know-how, and clientele. Over time, the product range is expanded and market share is gained.
1999
With 20 years of expertise, Vimoter has become a solid company with proven reliability. The need for larger spaces allows for a transfer to a bigger facility in Nova Milanese, ensuring the company’s readiness in facing the challenges of the new millennium.
2003
Following a demanding revision of operational procedures, Vimoter obtains the international ISO 9001 certification for its quality system, issued by the certifying entity TUV SUD.
2008
A turning-point year: with the economic crisis, Vimoter diversifies and becomes the Italian distributor of Eurotubi Pressfitting. Thanks to commercial experience, advantageous conditions are obtained, developing into an international reseller.
2015
Due to the need for larger spaces, Vimoter relocates again, this time 2 km from the previous location to a 3,000 sq m building, equipped with a modern automated warehouse that optimizes space and improves shipping efficiency.
2025
Vimoter grows further and a third relocation is necessary after only 9 years from the previous one: the new facility is in Paderno Dugnano. The pressfitting division is transferred to Eurotubi, while Vimoter decides to focus on braking systems only. As the year comes to a close, the Malbro Group acquires O.M.P. srl in Trigolo (Cremona), specialized in mechanical machining. Today, the braking systems division operates across Vimoter, Madal, and O.M.P.
